Program

1. Organization of the emergency health system: SUEM 118/NUE 112 and Emergency Department;
2. Evaluation of the critical patient;
3. Basic Life Support: cardiopulmonary resuscitation and airway disruption in the adult patient during the COVID-19 pandemy;
4. Medical Urgency: Syncope, Hypoglycemia, Convulsions, Stroke, Shock, Asthma, Anxiety crisis;
5. Traumatic urgencies: Burns, Wounds, Hemorrhages.

Learning assessment procedures

The exam will take place in person and will be divided into two parts:
1. Oral interview on the topics addressed in class
2. BLS practice test
Failure to pass one of the two parts entails the complete repetition of the exam.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

Knowledge of the topics covered in lessons and practical skills in the BLS.
