Knowledge of the neoplastic pathology of the kidney with correlations to the molecular characteristics of the different neoplastic histotypes

Program
The first part of the lesson aims to illustrate the extreme heterogeneity of renal carcinoma which has been discovered over the last few decades, leading to the identification of 21 different renal cell neoplasms as reported in the latest classification of the World Health Organization published in 2022. In the second part, the existing correlations between the aforementioned histotypes, their molecular alterations, their clinical behavior and the "target" therapy will be analyzed
