Learning objectives

The course aims at providing legal knowledge in the labour field focusing on those instruments that are necessary in order to deal with the emergencies deriving from natural catastrophes, hunger, wars, migrations, affecting social rights in the multi-level legal order. Consistently with the learning targets of the legal area of the master's degree in Emergency Govern-ance, also in this course students are trained to be capable of understanding the legal context and the fundamental principles of reference as well as of finding proper solutions to legal problems.

The rules on entry and residence of third-country nationals for economic and non-economic reasons

Didactic methods

The lectures include a frontal lecture followed by a classroom learning assessment through anonymous interaction tools (wooclap). The last lesson is planned in dialogue form.

Learning assessment procedures

The final assessment is based on an oral examination.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The assessment is based on the following criteria:
- the depth and breadth of knowledge gained;
- the property of language
- analytical and argumentative capacity;
- capacity for critical reflection.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

The final mark is based on a 30-point scale.
