Learning outcomes

Approfondire le nozioni di base in materia di diritto dei beni culturali, in particolare nei settori, operativamente di primario interesse, della circolazione internazionale dei beni culturali e degli illeciti sanzionati in sede amministrativa e penale.

Program

The academic course on Cultural Heritage Legislation intends to acquaint students with the juridical and administrative system that safeguards and enhances the cultural treasures of Italy, as it delves partucularly into the standard procedures and tasks implemented by art history officials under MIBAC giudelines.
The lessons will be:
1) Excursus storico della legislazione in materia di beni culturali
2) L'organizzazione amministrativa del Mibac dopo l'attività di riforma degli ultimi anni
3) Il concetto di bene culturale e le Commissioni Franceschini e Papaldo
4) Verifica dell'interesse culturale, dichiarazione dell'importante interesse culturale, prescrizioni di tutela indiretta
5) Circolazione dei beni culturali in ambito nazionale e internazionale
6) Misure di conservazione e figura del restauratore
7) Altre forme di protezione
8) La fruizione e la valorizzazione dei beni culturali
9) La catalogazione dei beni culturali

Examination Methods

The exam for lecture-attending students will consist of a class presentation on a cultural landmark or movable artwork per individual choise, which will be complemented with an oral exam.
The exam for students, who are not planning to attend the lectures, will consist of six openended questions covering the entire course. The test will last one hour

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE
