Learning outcomes
Give students some basic robotics concepts. In particular, students with a humanistic background will be given the fundamental concepts of robotics and presented alternative methods to program devices graphically and with simple programming languages.
Program
The following objectives will be proposed to students with a humanistic background:
- Definitions, types and characteristics of robots
- Reference systems and geometric relationships
- Robot programming methods
- Explanation of the laboratory experiments
- Application of theoretical concepts to practical experiments
- Graphical methods of programming robots
- Robot programming languages
- Planning of laboratory experiments
- Concept of laboratory network and related considerations
Examination Methods
Development of a small project that uses the robots in the laboratory.
