Learning outcomes
To deepen the basic notions of cultural property law, in particular in the sectors, operationally of primary interest, of the international circulation of cultural property and of offences sanctioned in administrative and criminal proceedings.
Program
The contents of the Course are:
- Art. 9 of the Constitution, division of legislative and administrative powers, sources of law.
- The Provincial Law February 17 2003, n. 1 (New provisions relating to cultural heritage)
- The "new" agreement between the Autonomous Province of Trento and the Archdiocese of Trento on the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage of religious interest belonging to ecclesiastical institutions and organizations
- The rules in the national Code on international movement and on offense.
The knowledge of some basic legal concepts is necessary.
The course will consist of the analysis of legislative texts. It will be based on lectures, ample space will be devoted to discussion of key issues.
Examination Methods
The exam will normally be oral; it will be devoted to check the students' ability in properly comprehend and describe the studied concepts.
