CONTAMINATION LAB
The Contamination Lab Verona (CLab Verona) is an experiential course with modules on innovation and enterprise culture that offers the opportunity to work in teams with students from all areas to solve challenges set by companies and organisations.
Upon completion of a CLab, students will be entitled to receive 6 CFU (D- or F-type credits).

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be admitted to any teaching activities, including those of your choice, you must be enrolled in the academic year in which the activities in question are offered. Students who are about to graduate in the December and April sessions are therefore advised NOT to undertake extracurricular activities in the new academic year in which they are not enrolled, as these graduation sessions are valid for students enrolled in the previous academic year. Therefore, students who undertake an activity in an academic year in which they are not enrolled will not be granted CFU credits.

Learning objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
• multidisciplinary knowledge aimed at critical analysis of specific social problems
• multisciplinary knowledge aimed at reflecting on the dynamics in which the service is inserted
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ability to interpret the different situations of hardship and to promote the well-being of the community; reading and decision-making skills inherent to the problems of integration between social and health services; decision-making ability in complex organizational situations;
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
The course aims to provide the knowledge related to some areas of medicine that affect the causes and factors of dis-ease of greater social impact, taking into account the possible intervention strategies aimed at their removal, promoting the strengthening of health, with one look also at the organization of health services. The knowledge provided will also cover the clinical and social impact of substance abuse, regulatory and diagnostic aspects, rehabilitation therapies, knowledge of the main disabling outcomes that result in cerebrovascular, neurodegenerative and neuroinflammatory neurological diseases with particular reference to the motor and cognitive deficits that negatively affect the quality of life and the social participation of the person and the family members.

The final grade will be the arithmetic mean of the marks obtained in the modules of the integrated course
