PER I LAUREANDI: Si raccomanda ai laureandi delle sessioni di novembre e marzo/aprile di NON svolgere attività extracurriculari del nuovo anno accademico (a cui non risultano iscritti e per il quale NON devono rinnovare l'iscrizione) per il conseguimento di cfu di "tipologia D o F", essendo tali sessioni di laurea con validità riferita all'anno accademico precedente. Le attività formative svolte in un anno accademico cui non si è iscritti, non danno luogo a riconoscimento di CFU.

Learning objectives

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING advanced theoretical and technical-methodological knowledge, with particular regard to the analysis and under-standing of the social, welfare and healthcare institutional realities; knowledge of the methods of professional intervention on personal situations, family situations and groups charac-terized by high complexity; ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING: ability to interpret the different situations of hardship and to promote the well-being of the community. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: The course is dedicated to the understanding of the most current challenges for social work, such as the need to acquire training, technical, methodological, information, and professional tools to recognise and manage the main psychosocial processes in the work of social workers with disadvantaged groups, and to enable the learning and sharing of good practices for social intervention, with a specific focus on LGBTQ+ individuals, minors and families.

Didactic methods

The course will be delivered exclusively in person, using both frontal teaching and classroom exercises.
During the course there will be optional individual and collaborative activities, as well as meetings with experts and professionals in the sector (both psychological and social service) who work with LGBTQ+ realities.
All students must register on the course's Moodle platform, which will be the main communication channel of the course and where you can find all the useful information on the activities and resources used in lessons.

Learning assessment procedures

The exam will take place in written form and will include both multiple choice and open-ended questions (max 32 points). During the delivery of the course, for those who wish, it will be possible to participate in individual and/or collaborative activities (optional) which, following a positive evaluation, will give recognition up to a maximum of 3 points, which will be integrated to the grade of the written test , only if a passing grade is achieved (18/32nd).

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

• Closed questions do NOT have penalties for incorrect answers. • The point from the individual activity will be added to the final score only if a pass is achieved in the written test, i.e. a grade equal to or higher than 18; • In case of failure to pass the exam or renounce the grade obtained, the extra points obtained will NOT be lost, but will be kept until the last exam session of the academic year. 2024/2025; • At the discretion of the teacher, it will be possible to request an oral integration from the student.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

The final exam will consist of a written test with: • 17 closed questions (1 point for each correct answer); • 5 short open questions rated from 0 to 3 points; Participation in the individual activity will allow you to acquire n. 1 extra point, which will be added to the score obtained in the written test; Participation in the collaborative activity will allow you to acquire up to 6 extra points and to answer only 3 open questions out of 5 in the exam.
