KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING multidisciplinary knowledge aimed at reflecting critical analysis of specific social problems multidisciplinary knowledge aimed at reflecting on the dynamics in which the service is inserted ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ability to analyse social, territorial, social policy and ethical factors that may favour or hinder the effectiveness and efficiency of services.. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES The course aims to develop critical thinking skills with respect to ethical issues concerning social justice, social inequalities, to support students in understanding the current welfare crisis, linked to the spread of utilitarian ethics that are in stark contrast to the ethical dimension of social work All this also with a preparatory function for project-based thinking in a community frame.
Program
Il corso di Etica sociale affronta la frammentazione dei legami sociali prodotta dal neoliberismo come questione etico-politica centrale del mondo contemporaneo. La trama teorica del corso si annoda intorno a tre testi: Realismo capitalista di Mark Fisher, in cui il “non c’è alternativa” opera come regime di verosimiglianza che naturalizza il capitalismo, privatizza la sofferenza e sposta sull’individuo il carico del fallimento; La comunità inoperosa, di Jean Luc Nancy in cui la comunità non è un progetto identitario da produrre, ma l’esposizione dell’essere-con, una co-appartenenza che eccede ogni funzione; e La comunità inconfessabile di Maurice Blanchot, in cui il legame sociale si dà come evento discreto e amicizia, sottraendosi a ogni tipo di proprietà e padronanza. A partire da queste prospettive, il corso intreccia analisi di situazioni concrete ¬¬– precarietà e metriche della performance, solitudini urbane, pressioni sulle istituzioni educative – per chiarire come il dispositivo neoliberale individualizzi il rischio e disarticoli il comune, e per discutere criteri e pratiche capaci di ricomporre tessuti sociali: forme di cura, mutualismo e politiche del welfare intese come esercizi del “comune” più che come erogazioni residuali. L’intento è fornire strumenti concettuali e metodologici per argomentare interventi sobri ed efficaci, evitando tanto l’enfasi consolatoria quanto i comunitarismi identitari.
