Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
Il corso propone l’approfondimento dei fenomeni psicologici che regolano il comportamento della persona e i processi di base ai quali essi si riferiscono: attivazione, acquisizione, sintesi, comunicazione, con particolare riferimento alla relazione terapeutica infermiere/paziente. Mira a sviluppare una attitudine conoscitiva rispetto alle problematiche presenti nei rapporti con soggetti/pazienti appartenenti a culture diverse e a costruire un’attitudine operativa attenta e critica alle molteplicità delle dimensioni culturali coinvolte nelle interazioni tra gli esseri umani.
Program
• I bisogni psicologici dell’individuo relativi alla sua personalità, all’età, al tipo e fase di malattia (sviluppo individuale, ciclo di vita e famiglia).
• I concetti fondamentali della psicologia generale (bisogni e motivazione, comportamento ed emozioni, linguaggio e pensiero, sensazione e percezione, intelligenza, personalità).
• La complessità del rapporto operatore/paziente, approfondimento della comunicazione, verbale e non verbale, gli ostacoli, l’ascolto attivo, la distanza emotiva.
• Le implicazioni psicologiche che le malattie, la sofferenza e la morte possono comportare nella relazione operatore/paziente (problemi psicologici del paziente, reazioni alla malattia e meccanismi di difesa, stress, emozioni e malattie correlate allo stress, modelli interpretativi, adattamento e risposte psicologiche, capacità di coping).
