Learning objectives
The course aims to develop:
• awareness of the dynamics of language contact;
• the ability to analyze interlinguistic variation;
• understanding the role of linguistic typology in L2 learning;
• reflection on the relationship between metalanguage and competence;
• the ability to design syllabuses in a multilingual context;
• critical use of the CEFR in teaching Italian as a second language. At the end of the course, students will be able to: Knowledge

• identify language contact phenomena;
• know the main syllabus models;
