The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

CONTAMINATION LAB 

The Contamination Lab Verona (CLab Verona) is an experiential course with modules on innovation and enterprise culture that offers the opportunity to work in teams with students from all areas to solve challenges set by companies and organisations.  

Upon completion of a CLab, students will be entitled to receive 6 CFU (D- or F-type credits).

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be admitted to any teaching activities, including those of your choice, you must be enrolled in the academic year in which the activities in question are offered. Students who are about to graduate in the December and April sessions are therefore advised NOT to undertake extracurricular activities in the new academic year in which they are not enrolled, as these graduation sessions are valid for students enrolled in the previous academic year. Therefore, students who undertake an activity in an academic year in which they are not enrolled will not be granted CFU credits.

Learning objectives

The workshop aims to provide a training in basic methodological skills appropriate to psychological investigation. Through practical activities, students will be provided with basic training in order to manage a dataset and to analyse it with basic statistical techniques. These practical training sessions will follow the steps: - bibliographical research - data gathering and data entry - data analysis (descriptive and inferential statistics), base level. Open-source and/or very common packages will be used. Download the statistical package JAMOVI
The attendance at the laboratory is compulsory.
There is a final test to assess the obtaneid skills and knowledge

Prerequisites and basic notions

Basic knowledge of the scientific method and the knowledge acquired during the bachelor degree in psychological sciences are prerequisites

- Data collection and Computer-Assisted Data Entry. How to manage a dataset.
- Computer-Assisted Data Analysis, descriptive statistics. Illustrate and summarize the data.
- Computer-Assisted Data Analysis, inferential statistics. Correlational analysis.

Didactic methods

The course will take place in a laboratory with exercises that will allow participants to experience the use of statistical packages for data analysis

Learning assessment procedures

A final test is foreseen which consists of a series of exercises aimed at verifying the knowledge acquired with respect to the topics covered in the course and through the use of excel and jamovi.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The final qualification will be assessed especially on the basis of the commitment made during the laboratory, the degree of participation during the laboratory, the performance of homework and a final homework that summarizes what was done during the laboratory.

Stage e Tirocini

Lo/a studente/essa tirocinante curricolare sarà chiamato/a svolgere, presso gli Enti che lo ospitano, attività che prevedono competenze associate alla figura professionale dello Psicologo, in particolare lo Psicologo per la formazione, e nello specifico:  

  • attività di progettazione, realizzazione e valutazione dell’efficacia di interventi di percorsi formativi, nonché attività volte alla facilitazione dell'apprendimento nel ciclo di vita, in particolare in contesti organizzativi;
  • attività che prevedano l’analisi delle relazioni interpersonali, dei contesti organizzativi e delle pratiche lavorative;
  • attività che prevedano la gestione di processi organizzativi complessi, per lo sviluppo e la valorizzazione delle persone all'interno delle organizzazioni;
  • attività di progettazione, realizzazione e valutazione di interventi psicologici volti all’orientamento scolastico e professionale;
  • attività che prevedono l’uso di tecniche e strumenti di analisi delle situazioni e dei contesti, di raccolta di informazioni, e di interpretazione dei risultati, principalmente in relazione ai contesti organizzativi.

 
Tali attività si svolgono in Aziende ed Enti accreditati presso l’Ateneo. Lo/la studente/essa sarà seguito da un tutor accademico e da un tutor aziendale. Alle attività di tirocinio sono attribuiti n. 9 CFU (pari a 225 ore).
