Learning objectives
The Practical evaluative internship (TPV) takes the form of contextualised and supervised practical activities, involving direct observation and the performance of activities aimed at situated learning and the development of the procedural and relational competences and skills that are fundamental for the exercise of professional activity. These competences refer to the typical and reserved acts, characterising the psychologist's profession also pursuant to Article 1 of Law no. 56 of 18 February 1989, and include the use of cognitive and intervention tools for prevention, diagnosis, rehabilitation-rehabilitation activities, support activities in the psychological field addressed to the person, the group, social organisms and communities, as well as experimentation, research and teaching activities. The specific activities of the TPV are defined within the didactic regulations, also taking into account the specialised area of psychological activities to which the degree refers. Each CFU reserved for the TPV corresponds to at least 20 hours of professional training activities and no more than 5 hours of supervised in-depth activities. The TPV activities are carried out in operational contexts, for a minimum number of 14 CFU, at qualified external institutions affiliated to the universities. Part of these activities is carried out in public or private healthcare facilities accredited and contracted with the National Health Service. If these facilities cannot ensure the adequate and effective availability within them of psychology services and the relevant tutors, the above-mentioned TPV may be carried out entirely at other external entities affiliated to the universities.
