Learning objectives

The lab is conducted by Prof. Alberto Crescentini,
SUPSI - University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland, Locarno.

The aim is to integrate the current educational offering of the Master's Degree Program in Psychology, which qualifies graduates to practice as Psychologists, with a professionalizing lab focused on interviews and counseling in professional practice.
The educational objectives are as follows:
To acquire theoretical and operational reference frameworks;
To practice the development, conduction, and reporting of interviews;
To exercise observational and self-observational techniques.

Prerequisites and basic notions

No specific prerequisites are required to access the lab.

Program

Theoretical basis.
Preparing for the interview.

Didactic methods

The interview and the conversation in their various declinations are some of the most used tools by psychologists in their professional practice. From this emerges the usefulness of a problematization of their use. The training days will alternate moments of theoretical introduction and experiential moments. The latter will allow participants to reflect on their methods of conducting and to experiment with the possibilities of feedback and intervision.

Learning assessment procedures

Participants will be invited to produce materials that align with the proposed content.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The teacher will evaluate the material that will be produced by the participants, following the specific requests associated with the laboratory activities.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

The result will be expressed solely in terms of acquired or not acquired competencies, without assigning a grade.
