Learning objectives

KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING 1. To know and understand the characteristics of the processes of development and learning in different psychological domains (motor-perceptual, cognitive, communicative-linguistic, emotional, relational-social), along the whole life course. 2. To know and understand the psychological theories on the processes of development and learning. 3. To know and understand the risk and promotion factors for the individual paths of development and learning. CAPACITA' DI APPLICARE CONOSCENZE E COMPRENSIONE 1. To take into account the behavior of individuals of a specific age within a specific context according to the acquired knowledge. 2. To apply the acquired knowledge in the process of assessment of the behavior of individuals and their interactions in educational contexts, both to identify risk indicators and to favor processes of social integration. 3. To take into account the relation between the characteristics of individuals of different ages (individual factors and competences) and characteristics of the context (family, social and cultural factors) to understand the individual differences in the processes of development and learning, and identify specific promotion factors.

Prerequisites and basic notions

Knowledge acquired during the first year of the course is a prerequisite.

Didactic methods

The course will include frontal lessons, aiming at transmitting basic notions, integrated by cooperative learning, aiming at deepening the knowledge of specific aspects of the syllabus, in particular through the study of research papers. The content of the texts and the lessons is coherent with the syllabus. Further didactic materials are available from the teacher. Lessons will be recorded and they will be made available to the students.
During the whole academic year, in addition, the teacher will receive the students individually, at the times indicates in the website (it is not necessary to arrange specific appointments) which are constantly updated.
During the first lesson, the teacher will present the whole calendar of the didactic activities with dates and topics of the lessons, specifying the time and the rooms.

Learning assessment procedures

The exam is formed by a written part and an optional oral part. Both of them cover the whole syllabus. For the written part, there are 61 closed-ended questions. The duration of the written part is 60 minutes. The oral part is optional, and it consists of an integrative interview requested by the student, after passing the written part.
The exam will be equal for those students who attend and those who do not attend the lessons.

Students with disabilities or specific learning disorders (SLD), who intend to request the adaptation of the exam, must follow the instructions given HERE

Evaluation criteria

The aim of the exam is to verify the extent to which the expected learning results are achieved, in terms of knowledge and understanding abilities, both theoretical and applied.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

The evaluation of the exam is expressed in thirties. For the written part, there will be half point for each correct answer to the closed-ended questions. For the oral part, there will be maximum three points.

Type D and Type F activities

I 12 crediti liberi a scelta dello studente (ambito “D”) hanno lo scopo di offrire allo studente la possibilità di personalizzare il proprio percorso formativo permettendo di approfondire uno o più argomenti di particolare interesse legati al proprio percorso accademico.
Per garantire questo fine, si invitano gli studenti a rispettare le seguenti indicazioni per il completamento di tale ambito:

  •  almeno un’attività formativa erogata come esame universitario (con relativo voto in trentesimi) - è possibile scegliere fra i vari insegnamenti del proprio CdS non sostenuti in precedenza, fra i vari insegnamenti degli altri CdS di I° livello afferenti al Dipartimento di Scienze Umane ed anche fra i vari insegnamenti dei CdS di I° livello ad accesso libero erogati dall'Ateneo di Verona;
  • massimo 6 cfu relativi a competenze linguistiche (oltre a quelli previsti dal PdS);
  • massimo 6 cfu relativi a competenze informatiche (oltre a quelli previsti dal PdS);
  • massimo 4 cfu di tirocinio, (oltre a quelli previsti dal PdS); 
  • massimo 6 cfu di attività laboratoriale/esercitazioni (compresi quelli previsti nei PdS per l’ambito) di regola viene riconosciuto 1 cfu ogni 25 ore di attività; 
  • massimo 6 cfu di attività seminariale/convegni/cicli di incontri/formative in genere (sia accreditata dal Dipartimento di Scienze Umane che extrauniversitaria) – di regola viene riconosciuto 1 cfu ogni 8 ore di partecipazione e/o 2 giornate salvo diversamente deliberato;
  • non vengono valutate attività svolte in Erasmus non inserite nei Learning Agreement.

Stage e Tirocini

Le attività che ci si aspetta il/la tirocinante curriculare in Scienze psicologiche per la formazione svolga presso gli enti che lo/la ospitano riguardano principalmente attività di affiancamento nei seguenti ambiti:

  1. Formazione, sviluppo, innovazione e gestione delle risorse umane;
  2. Orientamento scolastico e professionale;
  3. Ricerca, selezione e valutazione psicologica del personale.

Sono ritenuti ambiti adeguati le diverse agenzie per il lavoro, le agenzie di formazione, le agenzie di orientamento, le società di consulenza e tutti gli enti, le associazioni, le aziende, le imprese e, in generale, le organizzazioni che al loro interno operano attività di ricerca, selezione e valutazione psicologica del personale, attività di formazione, sviluppo, innovazione e gestione delle risorse umane e attività di orientamento scolastico e professionale. Anche enti di ricerca e Università dove si conducono studi e indagini su questi temi sono ambiti ritenuti adeguati.
Lo/la studente/essa sarà seguito/a da un tutor accademico e da un tutor aziendale. Alle attività di tirocinio sono attribuiti 9 CFU (pari a 225 ore).
Il tutor aziendale deve essere un laureato in psicologia anche non iscritto all’albo.
