Le attività formative svolte in un anno accademico cui non si è iscritti, non danno luogo a riconoscimento di CFU.

Learning objectives
1) To know and understand the pedagogical theories that support the processes and techniques of learning, training and development of individuals and of different working communities with reference also to the necessary processes of social and cultural inclusion. 2) To apply legal, sociological, ethical and anthropological knowledge to the understanding of diversity and migratory phenomena in order to foster and support processes of social and cultural inclusion. SPECIFIC TRATING OBJECTIVE To know the specific elements, both conceptual and operative, distinguishing Special Education from other Pedagogical Disciplines; To know the essential elements of the ICF Classification; To know how to use the concept of functioning for the analysis of special needs of the person in condition of disability/addiction and the research for a better quality of life; To know the main application aspects of the paradigm of social generativity in care work; To know how to identify the main needs for development in those organizations operating in the field of disability, of pathological addictions, of mental health.
Prerequisites and basic notions
- Knowledge of the concept of inclusion;
- Knowledge of the relational dynamics involved in training and organizational contexts;
- Knowledge of the meaning of training process;
- Knowledge of the typical development.
Program
CONTENTS COVERED:
- The concept of inclusion (historical excursus of models and approaches to disability);
- The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the biopsychosocial model and the ICF;
- The PEI and the life plan;
- Prejudice and social stereotypes;
- Prejudice, disability and educational perspectives;
- The educational project;
- Methodological aspects for building a curriculum for the transition school to work;
- The dimensions of adult life for the development of social skills;
- Basic skills for adult life;
- Intervention with adolescents and strategies in the educational field;
- Design and implementation of a transition pathway based on the person-centered approach;
- Employment skills;
- Educational rehabilitation and parenting support intervention;
- Assistive Technologies (examples of Apps to support people with disabilities).
Bibliography
Didactic methods
During the lessons will be presented the PowerPoints that cover all topics of the program. The PowerPoint file of each lesson will be made available to students at the end of lesson. It is suggested to organize the study starting from the input provided during lessons. Furthermore, some topics will be specificaly analized using bibliographical references. Also, it is enough to study the material provided during lessons for preparing the exam.
Learning assessment procedures
The exam will be written and consist of a questionnaire with 20 questions, each with four closed answers (of which only one is correct).
Evaluation criteria
The evaluation will be made through a multiple choice tests.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The evaluation will be out of thirty. Each correct answer is 1.5/30. Every mistake or missed answer is zero points. To pass the exam, it necessary to correctly answer at least 12 questions.
