Learning objectives

1) Know and understand theories about formative processes of individuals and organisations with particular focus to to capabilities approach;
2) Know and understand pedagogic theories which underpin processes and learning tecniques, training and development of individuals and different working communities with respect to indispendable social and cultural inclusion processes;
3) Apply pedagogical methodologies and techniques in order to analyse learning processes and communities of practice which contribute in train educators.
2) Specific educational aims. Know and understand epistemologies which inspire education philosophies: models, languages, procedures in educational contests; master and be familiar with philosophical approaches applied to education using philosophical brainstorm and critical pedagogy point of views. Know and understand education and work issues in the view of abilities.

Prerequisites and basic notions

There are no prerequisites other than those for access to the Degree Course.

Program

Addressing training as a set of processes that allow you to acquire skills and create skills within an organizational and life context, the course will deepen the perspective of common goods.
In a time of economic, social and ecological transition, the future of training and work are declined in a planetary context and must be rethought in the light of training and "future" work.
Drawing on the contributions that social, ecological and feminist movements offer from various parts of the world, we will discuss together the emerging orientations for “possible futures”.

Bibliography

Didactic methods

Lectures, class discussions, group and individual work, open meetings with external guests, and workshops on the future will be promoted. Interaction, dialogue, and participation will be encouraged.

Learning assessment procedures

For those attending the exam includes: 1. A written test with open questions 2. A review of the text by A. De Vita (Feminist Ecopedagogy). 3. A group work starting from the text by B. Bianchi (Ecopedagogy). For those not attending the exam includes a written test with open questions (2 questions for each text) on the books in the bibliography.

Evaluation criteria

The following will be assessed: -
Knowledge of the contents covered in lessons and in the texts; Writing ability; Reflective ability; Participation in class (only for those attending).

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

For attending students, the exam includes: 1. A written test with open questions (50%) 2. A review of a text in the bibliography (25%) 3. A group project (25%) For non-attending students, the exam includes a written test with open questions on all the texts in the bibliography (100%). Non-attending students who would like to do a project will have the opportunity to do so, subject to agreement with the teacher.
