Learning objectives

1) Know and understand the theories related to learning and training of individuals in the life cycle. 2) Know and understand the pedagogical theories that support the processes and techniques of learning, training and development of individuals and of different working communities in relation also to the necessary processes of social and cultural inclusion. 3) Apply pedagogical methodologies and techniques to the analysis of learning processes to professional training and to the development of practical communities 4) To choose and apply methodologies and teaching strategies to diversify, functional to complex training contexts and characterized by emerging personal and social needs SPECIFIC TRAINING OBJECTIVES 1. Know the main stages of development of online training; 2. develop teaching strategies for training within online learning environments; 3. analyze knowledge management and e-learning systems in business contexts; 4. experiment with organizing an online learning event, even using mobile devices.

BIBLIOGRAPHY AND LEARNING MATERIALS
In addition to the books listed in the bibliography, scientific articles related to the topics covered in the course will be assigned during the semester. All information and materials required for exam preparation, including lecture slides, scientific articles, applications and digital tools used during the course, supplementary materials, and other relevant resources, will be made available in the course’s Moodle virtual learning environment.

Didactic methods

The course includes lectures, active learning activities, individual and collaborative technology-enhanced laboratory activities, discussions, and the exploration of teaching and learning methodologies supported by digital technologies and artificial intelligence. These activities are designed to foster students’ critical reflection and the development of practical skills.

Learning assessment procedures

Assessment consists of a semi-structured written examination covering the course content and the learning materials available on the Moodle platform. The examination includes a range of specific questions requiring students to formulate their answers independently while complying with the instructions and constraints specified in each question. Some questions are designed to assess the acquisition and understanding of knowledge, while others evaluate students’ ability to apply their knowledge to concrete situations, including through the analysis of short cases or problem-based scenarios, by identifying relevant issues, making reasoned choices, and proposing appropriate solutions in educational and instructional design contexts.
Duration of the examination: 90 minutes.

Evaluation criteria

Qualitative assessment criteria:
accuracy, relevance, completeness, and organization of content;
ability to apply knowledge and develop solutions that are consistent with the given context and learning objectives;
appropriateness of the selected methodologies and technologies, and ability to provide a reasoned justification for their use, where required;
analytical and critical reflection skills;
ability to develop and articulate ideas independently;
clarity of expression and linguistic accuracy.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade

The final grade is determined on the basis of all the assessment criteria listed above.
