M-PED/02 - HISTORY OF PEDAGOGY AND EDUCATION

Learning outcomes

1) To know and understand the pedagogical theories that support the processes and techniques of learning, training and development of individuals and of different working communities with reference also to the necessary processes of social and cultural inclusion. 2) Apply pedagogical methodologies and techniques to the analysis of learning processes to vocational training and to the development of practical communities. SPECIFIC TRAINING OBJECTIVES To know and understand some essential lines of the story of pedagogy (education) with specific reference to modern and contemporary ages through the analysis of the thought and the work of meaningful authors who gave special attention to the educational dimension of work and vocational training; To know the development of the models of those vocational training promoted in modern and contemporary ages; To understand the problematic nature of the processes of vocational training in the complexity of the current historical, cultural and economical context; To be able to recognize the most important models of vocational training developed between the Nineteenth and the Twentieth centuries; To define how the consideration of the training value of work has changed through the years, seizing permanence and absence in the current world in order to stress the lines of continuity / discontinuity; To apply the historical and pedagogical knowledge to the reading and understanding of the training for work in the current complexity, as well as in the lifelong vocational learning.

Essential moments in the history of pedagogy relating to education with specific reference to the 19th and 20th centuries
Significant authors of the modern and contemporary age, who have expressed a particular attention to promote mentality and project perspectives in training activities.
In-depth study of some problems related to planning in training activities, work education, the educational value of work, apprenticeship.

Written test with some open questions on the key issues of the programme related to the texts in the programme

Stage e Tirocini

Le attività che ci si aspetta il/la tirocinante curriculare in Scienze psicologiche per la formazione svolga presso gli enti che lo/la ospitano riguardano principalmente attività di affiancamento nei seguenti ambiti:

  1. Formazione, sviluppo, innovazione e gestione delle risorse umane;
  2. Orientamento scolastico e professionale;
  3. Ricerca, selezione e valutazione psicologica del personale.

Sono ritenuti ambiti adeguati le diverse agenzie per il lavoro, le agenzie di formazione, le agenzie di orientamento, le società di consulenza e tutti gli enti, le associazioni, le aziende, le imprese e, in generale, le organizzazioni che al loro interno operano attività di ricerca, selezione e valutazione psicologica del personale, attività di formazione, sviluppo, innovazione e gestione delle risorse umane e attività di orientamento scolastico e professionale. Anche enti di ricerca e Università dove si conducono studi e indagini su questi temi sono ambiti ritenuti adeguati.
Lo/la studente/essa sarà seguito/a da un tutor accademico e da un tutor aziendale. Alle attività di tirocinio sono attribuiti 9 CFU (pari a 225 ore).
Il tutor aziendale deve essere un laureato in psicologia anche non iscritto all’albo.
