Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
Il corso mira a fornire allo studente gli strumenti formali e pratici
per affrontare il problema del recupero della struttura
tridimensionale (3D) di una scena a partire dale sue proiezioni
bidimensionali (le immagini). L'enfasi è sulla geometria del
problema. I metodi verranno discussi in sufficiente dettaglio da
consentirne l'implementazione al calcolatore.
Program
* Introduzione, rassegna degli argomenti, motivazioni.
* Dalla struttura 3D al modello completo.
* Formazione dell'immagine.
* Modello della telecamera, calibrazione, stima della posa.
* Algoritmi per il recupero della struttura, sensori range.
* Forma dalle ombreggiature.
* Struttura da Stereopsi: triangolazione passiva, rettificazione.
* Triangolazione attiva.
* Ricostruzione volumetrica: shape from silhouettes, space carving.
* Struttura da Moto: moto discreto.
* Moto planare: omografie e mosaici di immagini.
* Struttura da Moto: moto continuo, flusso ottico.
* Ricostruzione proiettiva ed autocalibrazione.
* Ricostruzione tomografica.
Il corso viene svolto in 32 ore di lezione frontale e 12 ore di esercitazione in laboratorio, nell'arco di un periodo
Examination Methods
La verifica del profitto avviene mediante valutazione di un progetto (50%) e prova orale (50%). Il superamento della verifica di profitto porta all'acquisizione di 5 crediti.
