CONTAMINATION LAB
The Contamination Lab Verona (CLab Verona) is an experiential course with modules on innovation and enterprise culture that offers the opportunity to work in teams with students from all areas to solve challenges set by companies and organisations.
Upon completion of a CLab, students will be entitled to receive 6 CFU (D- or F-type credits).

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be admitted to any teaching activities, including those of your choice, you must be enrolled in the academic year in which the activities in question are offered. Students who are about to graduate in the December and April sessions are therefore advised NOT to undertake extracurricular activities in the new academic year in which they are not enrolled, as these graduation sessions are valid for students enrolled in the previous academic year. Therefore, students who undertake an activity in an academic year in which they are not enrolled will not be granted CFU credits.

Learning objectives
This course is aimed at introducing the core concepts of the business strategy. Therefore, starting from the origin and the evolution of the business strategy, the course will be focused on the definition and the comprehension of the business strategy’s core concept: the value model of the firm. Throughout the course students acquire competences and skills to analyse in an effective and critical way the core concepts of business strategy and to apply them within firms strategic planning processes.

Didactic methods
The course is based on class-taught lessons. Team works may be organized during the course.
During all the academic year students can meet the professor during specific weekly meeting. Hours and place of the meeting are published on the Professor web page and constantly updated.
The content of the textbook and of the class lessons are coherent with the program and with the aims of the course.
The program and the teaching material is the same for attending and non-attending students.
Learning assessment procedures
Oral examination. The examination consists of open questions.
The evaluation is based on a 30-point scale.
The examination procedure is the same for both attending and non attending students.
Evaluation criteria
The exam is aimed at evaluating the students's capability of analyzing in a critical, personal and effective way the concepts studied during the course classes.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final evaluation, expressed on a 30-point-scale, will be composed by the exam evaluation and by the evaluation of the work group participation, if any.
