CONTAMINATION LAB
The Contamination Lab Verona (CLab Verona) is an experiential course with modules on innovation and enterprise culture that offers the opportunity to work in teams with students from all areas to solve challenges set by companies and organisations.
Upon completion of a CLab, students will be entitled to receive 6 CFU (D- or F-type credits).

PLEASE NOTE: In order to be admitted to any teaching activities, including those of your choice, you must be enrolled in the academic year in which the activities in question are offered. Students who are about to graduate in the December and April sessions are therefore advised NOT to undertake extracurricular activities in the new academic year in which they are not enrolled, as these graduation sessions are valid for students enrolled in the previous academic year. Therefore, students who undertake an activity in an academic year in which they are not enrolled will not be granted CFU credits.

Learning objectives
The course aims to provide students with the knowledge of the basic principles and institutions oftrade union law, employment law and social security law. The course will privilege a close link between legal regulation and its practical application, with particular reference to judicial decisions, that encourage a more active participation of students.
Program
The course program is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the main institutions of trade union law. The second part explores the profiles relating to the individual employment relationship.
The program includes in particular the following topics:
- origins, object and sources of labor law;
- trade union law: trade union organizations, trade union rights, collective bargaining, collective conflict;
- subordinate labour and self-employment;
- the constitution of the employment relationship and the employment contracts;
- the employment relationship: powers, rights and obligations of the parties;
- termination of employment relationship;
- protection of workers' rights.
Particular attention will be paid to legislation coming from the European Union and the International Labor Organization (ILO).
The teaching material used in class will be made available on the e-learning platform.

Didactic methods
The teaching methods consist of frontal lectures.
Students are involved, assigning them some jurisprudential decisions to be presented in the classroom.
Learning assessment procedures
How to conduct the exam:
students’ skills are tested with an oral exam.
The modalities of the exam are the same for attending and not attending students.
The test focuses on the complete program, available on the e-learning platform. This program consists of some chapters of the two recommended books.
There are not any middle tests.
Evaluation criteria
The deepening of the knowledge of the subject, the reasoning ability and the correctness of the language are evaluated.
