Learning outcomes

The training activity includes seminars aimed at providing knowledge and skills on fair trade in young people who, with its ethical supply chain, stand as a sustainable alternative from an economic, social and environmental point of view. In particular, it intends to offer knowledge on the area of international and national cooperation in the market applied to fair trade, also considering the possible scenarios related to the development of digital. Ctm Altromercato, an Italian consortium made up of 109 members and 260 shops operating in the field of fair trade, will be proposed as a case study. At the end of the seminars, students will therefore be able to understand the choices and the logic of responsible consumption that characterize the supply chain of companies operating in the field of fair trade.

Program

Activity program:
- Introduction to fair trade
- Multichannel in Altromercato
- Retail in fair trade
- Fair trade in the digital age.

The seminars will be available online via video recording on Panopto (28 April - 31 May 2021).

The seminars are intended for first-year students of the Degree in Business Administration and Management who have acquired the skills provided following the activity of their choice entitled "Business Skills in Action", proposed in the first semester of the A.Y. 2020/2021.
The maximum number of participants is set at 150.
