Apply innovative models of chronicity management in neurological disabilities, know the ethical implications of chronicity management in the neurorehabilitation field
Prerequisites and basic notions
Know and apply in clinical practice the models of physiotherapy evaluation and treatment in complex neurological pathologies
Program
This module addresses the challenge of the Rehabilitation professional who finds himself interacting with the patient and his caregiver in chronic and end-of-life situations, with particular attention to the “Chronic care model” and to the education of the patient and the caregiver. In this teaching, the primary care system, forensic medicine, the economic welfare system and the organization of rehabilitation services will be described and taken into consideration. Teaching modules related to ethical and emotional issues are planned.
