Learning objectives
The course is included in the learning area “Innovation and management of the public administration” The course examines the main themes of the European administrative structures from the point of view of, a) their organisation, with particular focus on the structure and competences of the European Agencies; b) their procedures and acts, in relation to the interconnections with the corresponding activities of the national public bodies; c) judicial review by the European Union judiciary. The student will acquire the ability to face and solve real problems of the professional context in which he/she will operate, orienting his/her competence towards contractual compliance and the prevention of judicial conflict. Students will also be able to verify the practical and applicative consequences of the theoretical and regulatory framework and to set out the solution of concrete issues in written and oral form, also through group work, written exercises and the method of Problem Based Solving (PBS). Student will be able to use the appropriate and specific disciplinary vocabulary, adopt the correct lines of reasoning and argument, and formulate independent judgments. The teaching method used is functional to the continuous learning and updating of the acquired knowledge.
