Learning objectives
The teaching aims to deepen, in light of the latest scientific evidence, methods and content to promote prevention and self-care behaviors of the most frequent and relevant health problems. It offers students the opportunity to apply prevention, educational and rehabilitative intervention methodologies. HEALTHY AGEING Module: Learning Outcomes: to understand and enhance knowledge of memos and reports designed to promote active aging (active aging) and healthy aging (healthy aging) and analyze policies and interventions aimed at promoting active and healthy aging. TERRITORIAL BIRTH PATHS Module: Learning Outcomes: to learn about the care services set up to promote women's and children's health, starting from the preconceptional phase, in pregnancy, during labor/delivery and in the puerperium with special attention to the organizational and care elements. CHRONICITY AND PALLIATIVE CARE IN PEDIATRIC PATIENTS Module: Learning Outcomes: to learn and analyse the specifics of palliative care in the pediatric setting, with particular attention to the relationship and communication with the child and family, the effects of chronic/terminal illness on the physical and psychological integrity of the child and family members, and the complex management of clinical problems that are associated with psychological, ethical, social, and organizational. SOCIAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL DISTRESS IN ADOLESCENCE Module: Learning Outcomes: to know and be able to recognize the signs of adolescent distress with emphasis on transient psychopathological manifestations, warning situations, and intervention strategies in the community for prevention and rehabilitation. PSYCHOLOGY IN CHRONICITY AND PRE-FRAILTY Module: to analyze the psychosocial dimension of frailty and the psychosocial effects of gradual loss in one or more domains of human function. To learn ways of assessing and measuring the psychosocial dimension of frailty (tools validated in Italy) and preventive interventions. AFFECTIVITY AND SEXUALITY EDUCATION Module: Learning Outcomes: to delve into educational needs and interventions aimed at affectivity education in children and adolescents, and relationships at various stages of development. GENDER HEALTH Module: Learning Outcomes: to learn about the influence of sex and gender- on physiology, determinants of health, and risk of developing certain diseases. Analyse gender differences in the frequency, symptoms, and severity of diseases and also in response to treatment and adverse drug reactions. Address the gender approach in care practice with respect to health promotion, appropriateness and personalization of care
