Learning objectives
The course aims to improve the knowledge of the of the history of art in the Renaissance and Barock periods. The students will increase their critical skills, also for the purpose of an individual research activity.
Prerequisites and basic notions
No specific prerequisites are required.
Program
The first period of Sebastiano del Piombo. Specifically, the following aspects will be addressed: 1. General introduction to the figure of Sebastiano and his critical rediscovery of Venetian activity; 2. Analysis of the biography; 3. Analysis of the Venetian works (1505-1511).
Bibliography: a handout prepared by the lecturer will be made available to students at the beginning of the course.

Learning assessment procedures
Oral. It is recommended to study not only the texts provided by the lecturer, but also all the related images (uploaded on moodle), for which recognition is required of: author, subject, location, date and any other significant critical aspect. It is required to draw up a fact sheet on one of Sebastiano's works from among those reasoned during the lecture.
Evaluation criteria
The student's ability to analyse in detail one or more works presented during the lectures and reasoned in the texts provided will be assessed.
Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The final mark will be made up by adding the result of the oral test and the result of the tabulation submitted.

Italiano
