Learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to provide the students with the basic statistical tools used to manage a firm. The course is mainly practice, so that theoretical methods will be always applied to real cases using online datasets. The following topics will be then explored during the course: customer analysis, management control system, quality control, time series analysis of sales and forecasting. Freshening up the basic notions of descriptive and inferential statistics before attending the present course is highly recommended.
