Learning outcomes

The course aims to provide students with the conceptual elements necessary to develop an interpretation to the sociological phenomenon of the third sector.
Moreover, the course aims to present the cultural dynamics, organizational and operational organizations of the third sector in our country.

• Overview of the main theories of the third sector
• Identification of the specific relationship of the third sector
• The third sector in Italy: Legislation, size, culture and practices
• The third sector and welfare cultures
• Third sector and social policies

Examination Methods

In order to facilitate the students there will be a test at the end of the course content present in teachers' lecture and in the text "La specificità relazionale del terzo settore".
The date for the test is December 17.
Can participate in the test also all the students.
Exceeds the test who reports a minimum score of 18/30.
Those who pass the test must support, in the ordinary appeals, an interview on the remaining part of the program.
The evaluation reported in the test is valid for one academic year (up to February 2014).
Who does not support the test, the program must support all oral.
