The aim of the course is to provide the students with an interpretation of Latin American history that combines long durée with the analysis of the multiple links between Latin American and Europe from XVIIIth to XXIth centuries (i.e. the process of circulation of people, books, ideas)
Program
Course description: The course will be dedicated to the history of Latin America, a region with a population of over 600 millions, that historically had and today has demographic, economic and cultural links with Europe and Italy.
Requirements in advance: Basic knowledge of Latin American history
