Learning outcomes

The course aims to provide the technical tools to understand and critically reflect on the dynamics of applied ethics for any professional interested in education as part of his working life.

Program

Program
The ethics of professions according to positive thinking: Seligman, Csikszentmihalyi, Losada.

Basic concepts of ethics: Utilitarianism, Virtue, Relativism, Selfishness, value.
The relationship between ethics and the profession: the difficult balance between justice, good, results and accountability.
Basic concepts of ethics of a professional education: personal characteristics, skills, motivation, means, "customer" project, motivation, dialogue.
Analysis of the following defects relative to a professional education: selfishness, pride, prejudice, hypocrisy, arrogance, indifference.
Analysis of the following virtues compares to professional education: courage, confidence, effort, generosity, reciprocity.
There are testimonies - to foster critical cross-sectional comparisons - the following worlds: school, business, sports and military.

It is highly recommended to attend the workshop at least 80% of the total hours required for the recognition of credits free choice (2CFU).

Participants must send your application by 26 February 2016 to the email address of the teacher: giuliano.bergamaschi@univr.it, indicating in enrollment in laboratory ethics of professions. 20 participants are admitted to the laboratory according to the order of registration.

The assessment consists of a short written or oral report on a theme you like the lab.
