Learning outcomes
Aim of the course is to stimulate the knowledge concerning the medical and anthropological fields with respect to the developing countries. The starting point for an authentic culture of development should be the conviction that we must seek and establish a "universal culture of mankind". The knowledge of the "other" is not to ensure that he/she necessarily becomes the same as us. "It's just letting him/her as he/she is or better let him/her to be himself/herself that we can discover and exploit the creative difference " (Bauman, 2006). The speakers/teachers of the course are experts in national and international health-anthropological cooperation projects in the developing countries.
