Learning outcomes
The course is a review of the fundamental Roman Law institutes, as well as an opportunity to understand how Roman Law in action works.
The main purpose is to develop the ability of legal reasoning in the framework of real cases, alongside with both public speaking and team working skills.
Program
The programme aims at deepening–by solution of practical cases in the framework of the ʻper formulasʼ legal procedure- the main figures the Roman Law Institutions course dealt with, with reference to rights in rem, obligations and contracts.

Examination Methods
The course entitles to n. 2 CFU among the activities of choice (TAF F) to students who attend 70% of the lectures and pass an oral test based on the discussion of a practical case, and to n. 4 CFU among the activities of choice (TAF F) to the 5 best students selected to be part of the Verona team that will participate in the VII edition of the ‘Moot Court Competition. Diritto Romano e Tradizione Civilistica’ (Gargnano, 23-24 June 2022).
