Learning outcomes
Every doctor needs to be constantly updated on current scientific literature to be able to make decisions supported by the best available evidence. This course aims to introduce the concepts of evidence-based medicine and to provide theoretical and practical bases for the critical reading of a scientific article, including studies on original data, meta-analyzes and other synthesis research studies, as well as guidelines for clinical practice.

Lesson 1: Evidence-based medicine, definition and basic concepts
Lesson 2: How to read and understand a randomized trial
Lesson 3: How to read and understand a meta-analysis
Lesson 4: Methodologies for the production of evidence-based guidelines
Each lesson includes both a theoretical and practical component to familiarize you with the concepts discussed.
