Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to provide an adequate understanding of the literary institutions of ancient Greece in their historical-cultural context and in relation to the European cultural tradition, through the direct and guided reading of texts in the original and with the aid of methodological approaches aimed at developing adequate analytical and argumentative skills.

Examination Methods
L’esame prevede l’accertamento, mediante prova orale, delle conoscenze acquisite dagli studenti relativamente ai testi in programma. Essa mirerà a valutare le seguenti capacità:
- leggere i testi nell’originale idioma greco;
- tradurli autonomamente;
- dare conto, con linguaggio appropriato e chiaro, delle scelte traduttive di volta in volta adottate e delle specificità linguistico-stilistiche dei testi esaminati;
- riflettere in maniera autonomamente critica su tali testi nel quadro dei generi letterari di riferimento;
- dare prova di possedere conoscenze adeguatamente approfondite in relazione alla storia della letteratura greca delle età arcaica e classica.
La valutazione terrà conto del grado di conoscenza acquisito in ordine agli argomenti del corso, della prontezza e chiarezza delle risposte, nonché della proprietà di linguaggio.
Le modalità d’esame saranno le medesime per studenti frequentanti e non.
