Learning objectives
This elective course is aimed at giving an overview of the current management of Pancreatic Cystic Neoplasms, from diagnosis to therapy. Unravelling their dilemma, we will tackle several key aspect with the analysis of clinical cases and updates of the literature
Prerequisites and basic notions
The elective course aims to provide an overview of the diagnosis and therapy of cystic neoplasms of the pancreas, which represent a spectrum of extremely variable entities given their possible complete benignity but also evolution towards frankly malignant forms. The course will be organized on the basis of lectures, simulations of clinical cases, reading of scientific articles and discussion of topics currently under debate in the literature.
Program
All current international guidelines in terms of diagnosis and therapy will be addressed. Specific and epidictic clinical cases will be discussed aimed at clarifying the fundamental aspects of the management of these patients. There will be both lectures and opportunities to attend multidisciplinary meetings and clinical visits with outpatient patients.
