Also offered in courses:
- Human anatomy and histology - ISTOLOGIA of the course Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
- Morphological and functional fundamentals of life - FISIOLOGIA UMANA of the course Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene
The teaching is organized as follows:
Learning objectives
Acquire the knowledge related to the essential morphological characteristics of the different systems, devices and organs and acquire notions of cytology, tissue organization and general embryology. Particular attention will be devoted to the functional anatomy of the nervous system and to the General Pathology for understanding the basic mechanisms of diseases. HUMAN ANATOMY MODULE Training objectives: To acquire the ability to describe the structural organization of the human body from the macroscopic level to the microscopic level, in health conditions and to know the essential morphological characteristics of the systems, apparatuses, organs and the human organism, as well as their main morpho-functional correlates. HUMAN PHYSIOLOGY MODULE 6 Training objectives: To provide fundamental knowledge about: 1) functions of the different organs of the human body on the basis of the physiology of the cells that constitute them, 2) integration and regulation of organ functions in the systems, 3) relations between laws of chemistry and physics and the physiology of cells, organs and apparatuses 4) main physiological parameters of the healthy man. HISTOLOGY MODULE Training objectives: Histology is aimed at providing the preliminary knowledge necessary for the continuation of the teaching curriculum, in particular for learning how cells organize themselves to form the highly complex and differentiated human tissues that make up the basic structure of our organism . MODULE GENERAL PATHOLOGY Educational objectives: The course will develop some topics of General Pathology preparatory to understanding the basic mechanisms of diseases. General Pathology is at a critical point, at the crossroads between basic and clinical science. The course therefore aims to establish the essential links between clinical manifestations and fundamental mechanisms, facilitating the understanding of the conceptual basis of the disease.
