Learning objectives
Basic notions on growth and development and its clinical application form birth to adolescence; notions of the influence of family, community, and society on children health and disease; attainment of communication skills that facilitate clinical interaction with children, adolescents, and their families; notions of the main causes of morbidity and mortality in pediatrics; attainment of performing a physical examination of newborns, children and adolescents and to diagnose (plus notes of treatment) the most common acute and chronic diseases of children.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade
vote 30/30. Examination commission made up of two teachers who both do a part of the exam, at least a couple of questions to the same student for each teacher. Final grade resulting from the average of the results of each individual teacher.
