basic understanfìding in programming in Python with emphasis on algorithm development and analysis of numerical and textual data

Program

Introduction to Python (types, data structures, conditional statements, loops, writing scripts and functions). Implementation ( in Python ) of classical algorithms through assisted software production and implementation of specific projects. Introduction to libraries and tools for analyzing numerical and textual data.

Learning assessment procedures

The course entitles 2 D-type CFU(student's choice activities). Attending in the course is not mandatory. The final exam will take the form of written exercises on topics developed during the course.
