Knowledge of the different histological characteristics of adipose tissue and its anatomical distribution in the body.
Knowledge of the endocrine and paracrine activity of adipose tissue and of its main changes with aging
Knowledge of the role of ectopic adipose tissue in different organs and tissues and in the tumor microenvironment
