Learning objectives
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING • advanced theoretical and technical-methodological knowledge, with particular regard to the analysis and under-standing of the socio-welfare and socio-health institutional realities • knowledge of the methods of professional intervention on personal situations, family situations and groups charac-terized by high complexity • knowledge for planning, organizing and evaluating interventions in the field of social policies ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ability to design and implement highly complex social and health services; ability to interpret the different situations of hardship and to promote the well-being of the community; reading and decision-making skills inherent to the problems of integration between social and health services; decision-making ability in complex organizational situations. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES The aim of the course is to acquire the ability to design and implement individual and community interventions in situations of particular complexity, urgency and emergency, based on the main theoretical models of social work and to acquire a methodological competence that connects individuals and subjective aspects with the macro-social dimen-sions of problematic situations. A second objective is that of understanding the meaning and methods of implementing professional evaluation, placing it in the process of both individual and community aid and in the innovative perspective of generative welfare. Students will be led to know how to use tools and strategies for evaluation and intervention in complex situations, including specific reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities connected to them; to be able to develop tools to integrate theoretical knowledge with the experiential knowledge of users and professionals themselves; to know how to activate an interdisciplinary dialogue and a constant integration with the various subjects, institutional and community, involved in the help processes.

Criteria for the composition of the final grade
The goals of the examination are:
• breadth and depth of the worket out knowledges,
• ability in connecting correctly the different knowledges,
• analytic and of reasoning ability.
The contents concern the theoric and methodologic knowledges, and the link with the practice of evaluation experienced in the practice on the field.
The examination consists in a talk directed to verify the contents of the program and the indicated texts understanding.
The mark is expressed in thirtieths (obtained by the mean with the result of the course exam of the course "Evaluetion of Social Work).
