Learning objectives
The course aims to improve the knowledge of the of the history of art in the Renaissance and Barock periods. The students will increase their critical skills, also for the purpose of an individual research activity.

Program
The course aims to highlight the complexity of the critical recovery of the formative stages of one of the most singular figures of European painting of the modern age, El Greco, through the analysis of the historiographic, collecting and exhibition dimensions from the mid-19th century to the present.

oral. It is recommended to read the texts in the program and to study the contents and all the images shown, for which you will be asked: author, subject, technique, location, date and possibly other critica spects.
Evaluation criteria
The assessment will take into account the student's preparation in the knowledge of historical and critical data, clarity and confidence in exposition and the ability to recognise the images illustrated in the programme texts.

minimum mark 18/30 maximum mark 30 and praise/30
