The Study Course in Combined Bachelor's + Master's degree in Technological medicine and surgery
is a limited-entry degree programme and requires candidates to pass a selection process, as set out in the relevant Call for applications. Enrolment in the programme is subject to the candidate's position in the ranking drawn up following the selection.

How to enroll
Step 1 – Register for the Preliminary Semester and attend lectures
1. Register for the Preliminary Semester via www.universitaly.it between 10:00 AM on 23 June 2025 and 5:00 PM on 25 July 2025, selecting your preferred options.
During the online registration process, you will need to:

choose one of the Single-Cycle/Combined Bachelor+Master’s degree programmes from Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics, or Veterinary Medicine;

select the university location where you intend to attend the Preliminary Semester;

indicate at least 10 university locations where you would potentially like to continue your studies in the second semester. Important: the first location you select must correspond to the one chosen for the Preliminary Semester attendance;

select a related study programme of your interest Elenco corsi affini ai sensi del DM 418/2025 (University of Verona);

indicate at least 10 university locations for the selected related programme, where you could continue in the second semester in case you are not ranked high enough for admission to your first choice.
2. Pay the Preliminary Semester enrolment fee of € 250 using the payment procedure available on the University’s ESSE3 portal starting from June 24th at 10.00 named "iscrizione semestre filtro".
3. Attend lectures in the three core subjects of the Preliminary Semester — Chemistry and Introductory Biochemistry, Physics, and Biology — according to the academic calendar, from September to November 2025.
Please note: attendance is mandatory. By attending the Preliminary Semester, you are exempt from attendance requirements for the related study programmes.
Step 2 – Take exams
1. Take exams during the two scheduled sessions:

First session: 20 November 2025 at 11:00 AM

Second session: 10 December 2025 at 11:00 AM
Please note: regularly check the degree programme web page for information about the exam locations and times.
2. Check your exam results in your personal area on www.universitaly.it
3. Accept or reject the marks received via www.universitaly.it
Please note: only those who obtain a minimum score of 18/30 in all three exams will be included in the ranking.
Step 3 – Check the ranking on www.universitaly.it
The criteria for drawing up the ranking and the procedures regarding subsequent selection rounds will be made available on this web page following the publication of the relevant ministerial decree.
Step 4 – Enrol
If you are placed in a suitable position for enrolment in the Single-Cycle/Combined Bachelor+Master’s degree programme in Technological Medicine and Surgery at the time of the ranking publication or in a subsequent round, you may proceed with the enrolment.
If you are not placed high enough for enrolment in Technological Medicine and Surgery but are included in the ranking, you may enrol in one of the related study programmes where you have been admitted.
Non-EU students residing in non-EU countries
1. Submit an application to the relevant Embassy or Consulate on www.universitaly.it/studenti-stranieri
2. Sign up for the Preliminary Semester as indicated in step 1
3. Register on the ESSE3 by the same deadline for registering for the Preliminary Semester
4. Attend the Preliminary Semester as indicated in phase 1 and take the exams as indicated in phase 2
5. Check the ranking
6. If you are admitted in the ranking, enroll as indicated in phase 4
Attention:
• before enrolling, check the suitability of your qualification at the Admissions Office if you did not obtain it in Italy;
• to enroll you must also demonstrate knowledge of the Italian language (level B2). You can submit a certifications required by the MUR circular if you have one (to verify eligibility you can write to admissions@ateneo.univr.it). However, if you do not have a valid certification, you must take the Italian language proficiency test.
