Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Learning outcomes
knowledge of medieval philosophy in its historical development (the V-XIV) and in its thematic complexity (logic, metaphysics, theology, ethics, aesthetics, cosmology, physics, politics).
Examination Methods
La prova d’esame consisterà di:
- una prova scritta che verterà su uno dei nove momenti salienti nella storia della filosofia medievale, quali sono stati indicati nel programma, e cioè: I. Caratteristiche generali della filosofia medievale. II. Gli inizi: Boezio, Eriugena. III. Il secolo XI e Anselmo. IV. Il XII secolo: Abelardo, la Scuola di Chartres, la “Rinascita.” V. La scoperta di Aristotele. VI. La Scolastica: Tommaso e Bonaventura. VII. Duns Scoto. VIII. Ockham. IX. Maestro Eckhart.
Verranno proposti in tutto tre temi, due guidati (che saranno scelti tra i nove sopra citati) ed uno che sarà libero, a scelta dello studente, ma da scegliersi SEMPRE all'interno dei nove.
Gli studenti avranno tre ore di tempo per completare l’elaborato scritto. La correzione e la pubblicazione dei risultati avverranno normalmente entro una settimana dallo svolgimento della prova, ma questo limite di tempo potrebbe variare a seconda del numero dei partecipanti alla prova stessa. I risultati verranno affissi sulla porta dello studio nonché pubblicati sulla pagina personale del docente.
- una prova orale che verterà sul corso monografico. La prova orale si svolgerà sempre dopo la pubblicazione dei risultati della prova scritta.
