Learning outcomes
The course proposes to lead to a direct confrontation with some classic themes of the philosophical thinking and, on the basis of this confrontation, to stimulate and develop critical reflection and personal insight abilities.
Program
Title: Ontology of the person and phenomenology of the otherness
What is a person? What does it consist of? How does the personal identity emerge in reality? What a relationship is there between personal and psychical identity? Is there coincidence between person and homo sapiens? The central thesis proposed in this course is that the person is a system which produces acts. The particularity of the act, however, consists in its being "comparticipating" and therefore its implicating the problem of the otherness. These arguments will be considered concerning especially the phenomenology of Max Scheler, the system theory and the new versions of ontology of the person.
