Learning outcomes
To educate students to the complexity of the relationship between man and environment, and outline the role of the territory in the production of sustainability.
The attention will be focus on the environmental problem and will be discussed the issues on self-sustainability, combining them with the role played by local communities, both in the developed countries than in developing ones.

Environment and landscape in the geographical tradition; definition of concepts; the man-environment relationship; environmental protection; natural environment and humanized environment.
