Il Nazismo e la letteratura tedesca dell’esilio

Lo scopo del corso è di fornire un’introduzione alla letteratura tedesca del Novecento, focalizzando l’attenzione sul fenomeno del nazismo e sulle sue conseguenze

Program

Il corso intende presentare il fenomeno storico del nazismo (la sua ideologia, i suoi miti) studiando le conseguenze che ha avuto sulla letteratura di lingua tedesca negli anni dal 1933 al 1945. Quindi si esaminerà da una parte la letteratura della cosiddetta "innerer Emigration" e dall’altra quella dell’esilio. Si faranno esempi tratti dalla prosa, dal dramma e dalla lirica, senza dimenticare il genere diaristico e quello dell’autobiografia. Gli autori più rappresentativi che verranno trattati sono Ernst Jünger, Heinrich e Thomas Mann, Bertolt Brecht e Stefan Zweig.

Critica: il capitolo relativo alla letteratura del Novecento del manuale di marino Freschi, La letteratura tedesca, Bologna Il Mulino; si consiglia anche Paul Riegel/Wolfgang van Rinsum, Drittes Reich und Exil 1933-1945, München DTV 2000; ulteriori letture critiche verranno segnalate durante il corso.

Stage e tirocini

Nel piano didattico della laurea triennale in Lingue per il turismo e il commercio internazionale (L12) è previsto un periodo di stage obbligatorio (CFU 6) in organizzazioni imprenditoriali.

Le attività di stage sono finalizzate a far acquisire allo studente una conoscenza diretta in settori di particolare interesse per l’inserimento nel mondo del lavoro e per l’acquisizione di abilità professionali specifiche.
Le attività di stage sono svolte sotto la diretta responsabilità di un singolo docente presso studi professionali, enti della pubblica amministrazione, aziende accreditate dall’Ateneo veronese.
I crediti maturati in seguito ad attività di stage saranno attribuiti secondo quanto disposto nel dettaglio dal “Regolamento d’Ateneo per il riconoscimento dei crediti maturati negli stage universitari” vigente.
