Part-time membership
The Course also offers the possibility of part-time enrollment, for more information consult the information page.

How to enroll

Step 1 – Register for and take the TOLC-SU test.
1. Read the adimission notices carefully to enrol in the Foreign Languages and Literatures degree programme;
2. Sign in on the CISIA website.
3. Register for the TOLC-SU test on the CISIA website (you will be asked to pay a registration fee of €30): please remember to keep a copy of the receipt, which includes the day and time of your TOLC-SU test. You can take the TOLC-SU test on site or remotely (as TOLC@CASA). Please note: the English language test section is mandatory.
4. Take the TOLC-SU test (you can take it online from home, on dates set by the University of Verona, or by any another university part of the CISIA network).

Please note: each candidate may take each individual TOLC test, regardless of the mode of delivery, no more than once per (calendar) month. The updated TOLC-SU calendar can be found at the following link: Calendario TOLC-SU. For further information: Regolamento TOLC.

Step 2 – Register for the Eligibility Check (pre-enrolment):
5. Log into ESSE3 and register.
6. Submit your documents for the Eligibility Check on ESSE3 (Menu > Segreteria > Valutazione requisiti di accesso). You can do so even before taking the TOLC-SU test, as long as the test is taken in the period of validity of the test for enrolment. You won’t need to enter the TOLC test score, since this is automatically acquired by the system.
7. Check the results on  ESSE3. Your status will appear as one of the following:
•    PROVA DA EFFETTUARE (Eligibility Check still to be carried out) – this means that the TOLC-SU test has not been taken yet and/or saved in the system. The TOLC test score is displayed approximately 48 hours (two days) after the test;
•    PRESENTE (Exempt, or passed) - this means that your entry requirements have been judged as valid (your TOLC test result is valid and correctly saved in the system). In this case, you can go on to Step 3.

Students are advised that they should check the results dashboard on ESSE3 regularly, as they will not receive any personal communications by the University about their application.

Step 3 – Enrol
8. If your status reads PRESENTE, register on ESSE3 by the deadlines indicated on this web page. To complete your enrolment, you will need to scan and upload a passport photo that complies with the requirements set out in: ‘How to add your photo’.
9. From the ‘payment’ dashboard on ESSE3 make the payment of the first instalment of your student fees via PagoPA;
10. Wait for confirmation email. Please note: you will not receive the confirmation email immediately, since the Enrolment Office will need to process and check your documents and qualifications before confirming your enrolment.

Please take note of the deadlines!
- TOLC test to be taken and passed by 20 September 2024 (for regular enrolment) or by 21 November 2024 (a late fee will be charged). TOLC tests taken from 1 January 2023 will be regarded as valid.

LEGGI

Title required for matriculation

Diploma di istruzione secondaria di secondo grado conseguito in Italia o altro titolo di studio conseguito all’estero ritenuto idoneo.

What are basic knowledge
