Academic calendar
The academic calendar shows the deadlines and scheduled events that are relevant to students, teaching and technical-administrative staff of the University. Public holidays and University closures are also indicated. The academic year normally begins on 1 October each year and ends on 30 September of the following year.

Examination Methods
La verifica del profitto avviene mediante una prova scritta, nella quale vengono proposte sia brevi domande aperte sulle nozioni teoriche sia esercizi di progettazione concettuale e logica di una base di dati e di interrogazione di una base di dati.
È possibile presentarsi a qualunque appello e poter ripetere l'esame quante volte si vuole (entro comunque la fine dell'anno accademico di erogazione del corso).
Chi avesse ottenuto una votazione positiva ad un appello può ripetere l'esame presentandosi ad uno qualunque dei successivi appelli. Chi avesse già un voto positivo e si ripresentasse ad un successivo appello (avendomi preventivamente avvisato di non registrare il voto acquisito) e consegnasse il compito perderebbe senza possibilità di appello il voto precedente già acquisito (sia che il nuovo compito sia migliore o peggiore del precedente). Chi si ripresenta ma non consegna e si ritira invece mantiene la vecchia votazione già acquisita.

La frequenza non è obbligatoria.
Maggiori dettagli in merito all'obbligo di frequenza vengono riportati nel Regolamento del corso di studio disponibile alla voce Regolamenti nel menu Il Corso. Anche se il regolamento non prevede un obbligo specifico, verifica le indicazioni previste dal singolo docente per ciascun insegnamento o per eventuali laboratori e/o tirocinio.
