Module: ANTROPOLOGIA CULTURALE

The course with provide an introduction to the history of the discipline and the anthropological tools for analyzing and understanding cultural diversity. The course will discuss stereotypes and suggest ways of interpreting our own and others’social behaviour and attitudes, by placing them in context.and presenting them from different points of view. A particular theme will be the ethnography of institutions, especially with regard to current global social and cultural connections.

Module: ANTROPOLOGIA CULTURALE

Il programma comprende una rivisitazione degli strumenti approntati dall’antropologia per l’analisi delle società contemporanee, con particolare attenzione alla migrazione. Si prenderà in considerazione : la ricerca qualitativa , l’etnografia e la contestualizzazione dell’oggetto dell’indagine. Si introdurrà brevemente i vari approcci alle analisi delle culture istituzionali Si esaminerà le loro implicazioni per le politiche e pratiche di inclusione / esclusione sociale .
Modalità didattiche. Lezioni frontali, laboratori, esercitazioni, audiovisivi etnografici, incontri con studiosi esterni e mediatori culturali.

For the students of the threeyear course in Social Service there will be a written essay aand an oral discussion based on the practical work done carried out during the course. The students of the Laurea specialistica and those of the course in the anthropology of migration the exam will be based for attenders on an essay written during the course. Non-attenders will have an oral exam.
